I'm applying to Midwest schools (Bradley, Mayo, Des Moines, UW LaCrosse, UW Madison) - If anybody else is applying here you should comment! :)

Stats are great and all, but virtually everyone applying will have similar stats. Focus on what makes you different and what you can bring to the program/profession that sets you apart. I am a non traditional new grad from a top 12 program and if I had decided to apply based on my stats vs people on this message board I would have ran far and fast.

Can you elaborate on what you did to make your application stand out? I'm very torn right now on which schools to apply to based on my current stats as a somewhat non-traditional student as well.

University: California State U, Fullerton

I dont think it was anything that I did, I just highlighted what made me non-traditional. Look at everyone's stats on here, and then look at like 2-300 more. What makes some of them stand out? Usually I don't see alot. I ran a business, toured in metal bands, and talked about video games in my interview. I am not saying that will work for everyone but doubling down on my weirdness seemed to work for me!

Pre-PT Grind has a document that has all the schools stats and what not you can look on there and find schools that have stats similar to yours. Look up pre physical therapy gpa data report Pre-PT Grind and it should come up.

I think having home health on your application is awesome since not many people are able to get that experience. You're ECs are great as well, I wish I did more ECs outside of my major. Unless you did not mention the setting in your post, hopefully you know that home health is not an inpatient setting.

Congrats on TWU that is amazing!! When did you apply for TWU? My advisor was telling me that they are sending out invites in December, so its exciting that they are contacting us sooner!

Thank you! I submitted all of my applications in mid August. However, for TWU I believe my application wasn't sent to the department for review until mid-September because we were waiting on a transcript from a summer class.

I also applied to South college and finished my interview four days ago. How soon after your interview did you hear back about your acceptance to South? Thanks for your help!
I did the interview back in July and I received my acceptance in September. I got my application in super early, so I was able to do the interview early.
