Only because Venza is lower to the ground which I would think with a lower center of gravity makes it better.

No way! You want to bend over to get your kid in and out??

I already have a minivan and my kids don't need me to load them in.

Personally, I wouldn't own either Highlander or Venza. Toyota drives flimsy.

But I would drive a Suby hatchback if I lived up North.

Haha. I really don't like the Highlander either. I was just arguing with you since you pulled the "you're a girl therefore you don't know what BOF chassis is" card.

For SUV's I like Acura MDX/ZDX, Lexus RX, Ford Edge, Lincoln MKX

You must be very tall then

My decision to move out of Little Rock was due to driving a rear wheel drive car going northbound on I-430 by Rodney Parham... it was February and the road had iced over...and my car was sliding sideways. I said...I gotta get outta this town.

You're a girl therefore you don't know anything about cars!

You could take Shackelford and then get on Cantrell. But that downhill + curve after the bridge on Cantrell would have been a lot worse. The bridge on Broadway could work well in that case, but that would be all the way across town.

My baby's gettin' old. :( This was last week.

You know...I like mine so much, I'm seriously thinking I'll just get another one when I have to put this pony down.

My Acura after 10 years and 167,000 miles still drives like new.

What is wrong with this generation of men... you don't ask for recipe...

You just snap your fingers and say...."Woman...bring dem cookies over here."

And get served.

Works for me. That's what the most interesting man in the world would do...

I have my own woman to make me cookies. She'll just need the recipe. I'm not sure she's skilled enough to magic up the correct concoction based on the picture alone.

Ok then.

Here's your man card back.

Good. The only thing I cook is steak. And by "cook", I mean "wave briefly near a large fire".

It's acceptable for men to cook using fire. Just make sure you don't confuse the juice on steak.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Whoopie Pies
Serves: 30 cookies

Ingredients:

Pumpkin Cookies

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 cups (12-ounce bag) milk chocolate chips, not semisweet
  • Nonstick cooking spray or parchment paper
Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz. cream cheese (though I like to use mascarpone sometimes)
  • 3/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips or chopped chocolate chunks
Directions:

Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick spray or line them with parchment paper.

Using a mixer, beat the butter until smooth. Beat in the white and brown sugars, a little at a time, until the mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time, then mix in the vanilla and pumpkin puree. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Slowly beat the flour mixture into the batter in thirds. Stir in the chips. Scoop the cookie dough by heaping tablespoons onto the prepared cookie sheets and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cookies are browned around the edges. Remove the cookie sheets from the oven and let them rest for 2 minutes. Take the cookies off with a spatula and cool them on wire racks.

For the filling, beat togeter cream cheese, and sugar. Stir in the chocolate chips.

Can you make me one for lunch tomorrow? :D

I could invite some girls from my school and we could eat while talking about our work experiences from this summer

Oh, and http://pharmacymike.blogspot.com/2008/03/cii-prescriptions.html

Why would I want to meet a bunch of girls from your school? :eyebrow:

I can tell you that having been a preceptor of his school from 1996 to 2003, it would be worthwhile for a boy to meet a bunch of girls from his school...

This is useless to me.

Where do all the nice man boys go?

ummm....from industry to minivans, kids.... to cookies??

I jump around like that in real life... must be pretty difficult for others to carry on a conversation with me.

Wow...what a byootiful day in the MA. On the way to Delaware for SNM meeting!

I don't think I'll have much trouble finding you...I just need to look at Delaware S&M get togethers..

Didn't know you were into that sort of thing.

I think you should share with us your experience in S&M.

I suppose monoclonals can be pretty hott...is that what you're talking about?

No,

But I was thinking...suppose if you were married with a kid...and your rents were visiting along with your siblings.. that would be 7 folks.. well, 1 baby seat and 6 adults..

I would like to see you put all them people in an SUV you like so much.
