Hello All,
Perhaps you can help me with a quick question RE Army Reserve General Dentist pay.
I am at a point in my career as a practicing dentist where I have less financial pressures (little to no debt, savings etc.) and have an interest pursuing more of my passions, namely, possibly serving in the Army Reserves as a dentist (I have always had an interest in serving in the military).
While finances are not a deciding factor, I'm having difficulty understanding the total monthly compensation a General Dentist could expect in the Army Reserves. I apologize if this has already been covered in a previous thread, but I could not find a thread.
Thank you!

I'm not sure how it works for civilians. Apparently as a soldier in the reserves, you get about 12k (captains drill pay) + 25k special pay (for being a dentist). If you take the ABGD exam and get board certified, an extra 6k on top of that.

So 37-42k/year.

If I'm really wrong, do something.
