Administrative aspect of podiatry

I was hoping someone could shine some light on this topic. I'm assuming there are some administrative aspects to podiatry? Could a pod push for a position in healthcare administration?

You may be able to count director of a residency program as an aspect of administration, however I think you may want to re-post this question in the Podiatry Student thread or even in a thread for current Podiatrists.
