it is a good statement, but i have some points to mention about:
1- "It tugged at my heartstrings to imagine being unable to chew after struggling to find food" should be modified since "my heartstrings" looks exaggerated

2- you did mention why you like dentistry, but you need to explain more in details what happens exactly in your Neuro test and convincing reasons to withdraw from medical school
