Your time per passage

Hey guys,

I am doing the TPR Verbal Workbook and I find that I spend about 7-8 minutes on the passages I am comfortable with and about 9-10 minutes on the ones I am not comfortable. I read the whole passage carefully but as fast as possible then go back to if needed.

Two questions:
1) The passages have 6-8 questions each, so is the timing about right for the real MCAT, 7-8mins on an easy passage and 9-10 on a hard one?
2) Is this pattern about the same for you guys?

Shoot for 7, so you can take into account the longer passages on the real thing, and nerves.
