I've been interviewing at several places and we all know that some clinics are one minded. They hire only people that want to get McKenzie certified or NAIOMT, OGI, Movement Systems, Gary Gray, etc.
Personally I feel these are tools in our toolbox and shouldn't be THE way we work. I enjoyed the manual portion of our program. While a lot of it seemed like crap (PIVMs, PAVMs) a lot of it helped palpation skills and connect the dots foe neural issues like habitual inhibition and improper facilitation, etc.
What are your opinions on these systems after school? I'd like to do a bit of NAIOMT and maybe Movement Systems and Gary Gray and use these to form a multi-faceted treatment approach. We do, after all, go to school and get paid to use our skilled HANDS.
thanks
