i think you misread it.

"Of the 15 jobs we've singled out, human resources manager and pharmacist are the only two where not only some but most people make six figures; to make the cut, at least 10% of the people doing the thing must earn more than $100,000. Music directors and composers make a solid $107,280 or more in the top decile, but on average they pull down just $54,840. Pharmacist is the job on the list that the most people do--about 266,000 of them in the U.S."

They're saying that "most pharmacists make more than $100,000." They're not saying "most people do pharmacy." They were referencing the fact that on the list there were only two professions where the average income was over $100,000, pharmacists and human resources managers

There was another thread about this same article a day or two ago. It actually says that out of all the jobs they're highlighting, there are the most pharmacists. Not that most people can be pharmacists. Obviously we need more pharmacists than astronomers. It makes all of those careers sound like you can just drag yourself in off the street and do them. Usually this kind of article is trying to promote those online degrees so they make it sound like they're easy jobs. This is an example of ignorance and bad journalism, but at least we know the truth.
