x-ray certification for dental assistant

I live in virginia and i was wondering how could I get the x-ray certification to start working as a dental assistant.is there any web site from where I can get the online certificate or do I have to give any exam in order to obtain this.
also can any one plz tell me about the certificate for coronal polishing too.

Call NOVA's medical campus in Springfield,VA. They have this X ray cert class every month costing approx $104...............but there is a wait list of 3-4 months!! Hope that helps.

I am also closeby in Sterling,VA ...near Dulles airport.
