For all IMGs, if you do not have your CS results back by February 23, 2005 you will be kicked out of the Match. I took the exam in Chicago, can anyone who took it there (or anywhere for that matter} tell me when they go their results back? I took my exam November 4th and nothing is posted yet!!

This is devastating.

i took my CS exam in Philadelphia on October 18, and I received my scores back on January 7. those idiots better hurry up and send out the scores for IMGs who took the exam after november, so that these applicants are eligible for the match.

November 7th, Chicago, and no results

not an img (does it make a difference?), chicago in september, got scores back 2-3 weeks ago

Took it in Chicago on October 16th (I'm pretty sure that's the right date) got my results back a week ago. My fingers are crossed that you get yours very very soon.

IMGS WAITING FOR STEP 2 CS RESULTS SHOULD PROCEED WITH MATCH
REGISTRATION AND RANK ORDER LISTS

If you plan to participate in the 2005 Match, and you completed Step 2
CS testing on or before December 31, you should proceed with Match
registration and the completion and certification of your rank order
list, even if your Step 2 CS result is not yet available. The National
Resident Matching Program (NRMP) deadline for registration and
certification of rank order lists is 9:00 PM, Eastern Time, on February
23. The NRMP communicates directly with ECFMG to confirm eligibility to
participate. Therefore, your exam results may be available to the NRMP
in time for you to participate in the Match even if you have not
received them by February 23. However, you will not be allowed to
participate if you have not registered and certified your rank order
list.

Took the exam on December 6th. NBME website says my score report was mailed out on Feb. 9th.

I took it Dec 30th in Houston... My posted date was Feb 9th also...
It's letting me reapply... I guess I failed... I'm screwed...
any idea how long it would take my score to come back if I retake it in April?
that's the next available date anywhere...
Does anyone have even a thought on "what next"?
Any advice would be appreciated...
thanks...

I took it in Houston November 1 and my scores were released yesterday 2/9.

Are you sure that means you failed? I wouldn't rely on that. Wait until you actually get your result. :luck:

IT does NOT mean you failed. I can still register for Step 1 and I passed that like 5 years ago!

Are you guys sure?

Cuz it won't let me apply for Step 1 or 2CK...

I don't want to delude myself... but I'm a nervous wreck...

Residency gone... 1200 more dollars gone...

I hope to God you guys are right... cuz I checked Oasis... and it says my scores been posted... but when i go to the online application and apply for the CS... it lets me apply...

and like 5 guys I know who took the CS in Houston all got fail things...
but this one guy said it wouldn't let him apply cuz it said he passed...

I'll update you guys when I get my paper...

It doesn't mean anything. I tried the same trick. It let me register... I was freaked out.. Then I got a big fat PASS in the mail.
I second that. I found out that I passed yesterday. My dad got the score report and told me that it was a good thing that I passed the English proficiency and Communication parts; he felt reassured that I was, and I quote, "not mute or hearing impaired."

Took mine on Dec 22 at Penn and got the result via mail two days ago.
