Why is FA for Step 2 CK not as highly regarded?

I used FA for USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CS. They seem to be standard, go-to books that everybody uses (along with UWORLD).

Why is FA not as highly regarded for being "the book" for Step 2 CK? Seems like Secrets and Step up 2 Step 2 all have people clamoring they are the best. Just don't hear much about FA for Step 2.

As to "why" that's easy. The traditional test that meant any bit of difference to matching was Step 1. So where do yoy think the authors spent alot of time and attention? Duh. Step 1 First Aid. Now, as a namesake, and to continue to sell books, they realized that "hey, people identify First Aid as the go-to book... if, just like the ipod, we label any piece of crap FIRST AID people will flock to it." Unfortunately, instead of being a powerhouse revolutionary like Mac, its Tao Le, writing books for the sake of selling money.
