On average, PTs get paid less than NPs and PAs. Why is that? I tried to find some articles about it, but didn't have any luck. Based on bls.gov, PTs make roughly 10K less than the other professions.
Probably based upon the ability to generate direct income. PTs in the US in general have direct access but it is rarely practiced in reality. Whereas NPs and PAs, although they have a supervising physician, essentially practice independently.
