I got the acceptance letter in December, which was surprising (being early) but very exciting!

how did you get a letter early? I thought first letters were going to be sent out on jan 15th? did you apply early???

They may have done this last year, too. I think they send out a handful of early acceptances in mid-december. The bulk of them still go out in mid-january though.

Don't worry about it. I think most go out in january, that is why I was surprised. Acceptance came with a scholarship offer, maybe that is why.
