Which classes outside of Med School help with getting a neurology residency?

From what I can gather, USLME scores decide your residency as well as the grades and recommendations. I am taking some research methods class right now and I was wondering which classes you feel are the best to help you write a paper during med school and get a string neurology residency. I am asking it here since people have already been through the process.

I am asking it here since people have already been through the process.

I don't know specifically about neuro, but a solid understanding of the statistics used in research should be helpful for getting into most residencies.
