Are there books that teach you how to read radiographs? I'm an xray tech and all I have is my anatomy and positioning book that shows simple pictures of abnormalities. I'm not looking to diagnose but just to further my knowledge and not feel that all I'm doing everyday is just pushing a button

Radiology is very much an apprenticeship. You spend enough time sitting next to a radiologist and looking at enough films, then you'll learn. Most people develop search patterns for a given study to make sure that you don't miss the abnormality after seeing dozens of normals.
