whats the correlation of OAT and 1st yr grades?

Does anyone know the correlation between OAT scores and 1st year performance in optometry school and NBEO scores? I mean, does the OAT really reflect how well a person is going to do in optometry school? The OAT doesnt test verbal ability and writing like the GRE or MCAT and I think the OAT is easy when compared to these tests. Perhaps OAT scores are not as important as we think they are, and that undergraduate GPA and experience are more heavilty looked at by optometry addmissions.
