ACG self assessment tests, 99 per test, and hold on to them for future use in the 1-2 months when studying for GI boards
membership to ACG, $25
membership to AGA or ASGE
some places may let you use it during your last year of fellowship to offset portion of the board exam fee

if you're presenting something, sure, but otherwise, it is not the best use of money from a financial perspective.

Interesting, for at least all my co-fellows it has been an absolute no-brainer. The learning alone justifies it in my mind, presenting or not, and then its a chance to meet friends, get out and not feel guilty. Attending them is expensive, pick and choose where to go, but this was the biggest chunk of where CME money went from the fellows in my program went.
