What is the starting percentage in Uworld?

I just started studying for step 1 and did a 100 question block, and scored 55% . What's the average starting percentage for students? Is my percentage significantly below average?

The average overall for finishing is ~63%. That’s bc most people start improving with blocks above average at the end. So you’re perfectly fine.

Just remember whether right or wrong, you need to know the explanations cold. That’s where it’s useful. It’s only predictive value seems to be in the 80%+ crowd that routinely score over 250.

It probably takes into account the people that go through it a second time, as well, basically inflating by 10%+, so don't get discouraged. I felt like what I learned barely prepared me for that bank and it was...painful.

biggest thing i learned about this is that you shouldn't care at all

dont let a low percentage disenchant you from doing another block, and then another block, ad nauseam like it did for me
