Based in Doha, a State of the Art Medical and Research Centre will be the Middle East's first academic medical centre designed to the best international standards. Currently in the project-planning phase, the Centre will be a 400 bed specialty and research hospital for women and children. Scheduled to open in early 2013, the facility will provide world class, patient-focused, clinical services for women and children, medical education, and biomedical research in an ultra-modern, all-digital facility.
Job Summary
The Executive Director Diagnostic Imaging Administration is responsible for the overall Operational and Financial activity within the Diagnostic Imaging Department of the Medical and Research Centre. The Executive Director works collaboratively with internal/external groups to achieve business results, integrating the diverse perspectives of individuals of different backgrounds; coaches others in the dynamics of effective teamwork. Responsible for planning and policy development within the Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Requirements
Essential
- Masters in relevant field plus BSc in Medical Imaging or equivalent.
- Postgraduate qualification in management studies or equivalent standard.
- A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in a North American Academic Institution or equivalent in UK, Republic of Ireland, EU States, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand plus appropriate Education Certification/Accreditation from the ARRT or equivalent licensing board in the field of study.
- Demonstrated advanced leadership ability in a similar role.
- Demonstrated team development skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in planning and policy development.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
