Anything else not listed you think might be important

I’m a pretty good cook and was going to work as a line cook a little in a family friend’s restaurant during my gap year as time allows (probably not important)

I know my numbers are fine but I'm pretty unsure about everything else. For that reason, I can't figure out what a well-balanced school list would be while keeping it around 30 schools. Please feel free to give any advice for gap year activities or school list modifications, and thank you in advance.

I’ve seen @Goro @Faha @chilly_md @Mr.Smile12 @LizzyM tagged for advice. Thank you so much in advance for your help and expertise, I really appreciate it!

You have zero clinical volunteering/employment and minimal non clinical volunteering so your chances for interviews are low, especially at top tier schools where you will be competing with applicants with the same stats and hundreds or thousands of clinical and non clinical hours. You would be better off to correct those deficits in the coming year and apply in June 2024. The ED tech job would be ideal. Also accumulate 150 hours of non clinical volunteering such as homeless shelter, food bank, etc. .

Check with the residency rules for Wisconsin. Is a Wisconsin HS diploma enough? Thus I'm not sure applying to California schools is going to benefit you without more nonclinical community service hours. Aside from geography, I'd want a better idea of your mission fit.

My thoughts are the same as Faha’s. That may lead you to becoming a WI resident then potentially as well.
