Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if U of Montana Clinical PhD actually does not look at applications if they are not above the 50th percentile for both scores, or is it just that their applicants tend to be above that? Does anyone have experience applying there with a GRE score below the 50th percentile?

Thanks!

If you don't know, you can always email the POI and ask. Some places do have real, concrete rules laid down by the graduate school about who they can let in. But those limits are usually pretty clear on the web site, what's the language on the site say?

From their FAQ:

"In general, applicants without the following minimum credentials are unlikely to compete successfully for admission: both the Verbal and Quantitative GRE Scores should be above the 50th percentile and an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.20."

See, I'm not sure because they said unlikely, but I dunno if that means they actually throw out your application or not.
