I'm not much into cars, and is calculative enough not to throw a ton of money into a depreciating asset. A car that doesn't look out of place among my colleagues will be fine, and bonus if its a little more fun to drive than my 13 yr old Honda.

I don't buy cars because of an economic calculation, like a ticket to Six Flags leaves you w/ a residual value of zero on the ticket at the end of the day.

You buy it cuz it's fun and goes vroom and makes the panties of the girl in the passenger seat fly off.

I get more fun out of gaming than driving, and its whole lot cheaper. I also enjoy watching investment grow as much as a car go vroom. Also the dimmining rate of return, especially to a non-enthusiast, just means reward of spending more tails off very quickly.

And I'm married to a good woman and a father now, so no panties flying off girls for me anymore. Heck even hers don't fly off after our 2 babies. Oh well, at least I can laugh about it with rest of the married crowd.
 
I'm picking up the Kubota this week. Was a serious evaluation between Kubota, John Deere, New Holland, & Mahindra. But in the end, Kubota reputation exceeded everyone else.

And the dealer is Just up the road.

Options and attachments are crazy tho

Backhoe, box scraper, mower deck, post hole digger, tiller...on and on.

You think cars are expensive... go price farm equipment.
 
You god damn people talking about buying cars off of the old Axis powers on Veterans Day. Nazi and Jap cars. Someone start talking about Ferrari and we'll have the trifecta. We dropped a nuclear bomb on them for a reason. They can't be trusted. And now they are sucking money out of our economy with their damned overrated ass status symbol cars that ******s with too much money and not enough taste or brain cells buy to pathetically impress other idiots. A **** ton of soldiers rolling their graves this morning. They storm the beaches of Normandy and their grandchildren are buying Hitler's beloved Volkswagen.

Whatever is the most American. Moto X phone right now. Olevia (RIP) and Vizio TVs. Frigidaire appliances. Bought a Bosch dishwasher, but only because, surprisingly, they had the highest percentage American manufacturing.

Hold grudges much? Bringing them into an international free-market capitalist economy was the way to maintain peace. Now they are focused on getting rich making cars and electronics. Otherwise, they would be unemployed, there would be social unrest, and perhaps some militant socialist party would come to power.

I'm chinese, got nothing against the Germans. I think they got the strongest work ethic of all the European countries. And that's how they were able to take on the world and came close to winning, twice. Crazy kaiser or Nazism aside, gota respect how a relatively small country can put up that much of a fight.
 
Such a myopic view...unless Japan and Germans have US $, they can't buy oil...and will turn to Chinese Yuan. So go ahead and buy American...and devalue US dollar do we can lose the currency hegemony.

Shush with that nonsense, foo. Manufacturing jobs are more important than total propagation of American reserve currency hegemony. We have enough ways to get that done outside of killing our own manufacturing in the process. A revival of the US auto industry would literally end the job recession overnight. If all of you bought American cars rather than Nazi and Imperial Japanese cars, we'd be good to go.

Also...speaking of currency crap...you've missed some real stupidity around here lately...I'll tell you what. You'd laugh.

They didn't nearly take over the world. They barely got to Russia before getting their asses handed to them by the Reds...hell they couldn't even take all of Europe. What, they and Italy took over all of the poor or tiny countries and France? Woopity do. Me, four mannequins, and 2 quadriplegics in a minivan armed with pellet guns could take France by the end of the day Wednesday.

And right now, they are destroying the potential of the Eurozone with their idiotic forced austerity nonsense.

Not to mention the fact that their cars are overrated and overpriced as ****.

This is why America is failing. We wanted to maintain peace with the Nazis rather than raping and pillaging them as the victors as international tradition dictates. Now we buy their cars and fancy knives. All those poor men died in dogfights over the Mediterranean Sea...only to see their grandkids buy Wusthof cutlery from the kid of the same guy that stabbed poor Johnny from Alabama.

At least we solved our energy problem. We can just hook up turbines to the caskets of all of the WWII GIs. With how quickly they are turning in their graves, we could power all of America for the next damned century.

Anyways, In my sole opinion, Unicorn job (or Dream job) is the job what you like the most. Money making jobs are not always equal to happy making job.
I wish if I can find my unicorn job before end of my life.

Nazi Germany and USSR was going to come to blows eventually. They were ideological enemies, and Hitler always planned on invading since he wrote his manifesto. Stalin knew this as well and was actively rebuilding and repairing the damage he did during the purge.

What was stupid for for germany to was to fight war on 2 fronts against 3 super powers at the same time. The japanese didn't do them any favors by causing US to join the war and then not live up to their obligation to fight Russia. Although US eventually would have join the war anyway, the strong isolationist sentiment would have delayed it several more years had Pearl harbor not happened. And even if so, had Britain been knocked out, US's ability to attack Europe without any staging area would have been very limited.
