Not sure whether this is the best thread to post in, however I do want to alert everybody to a bureaucratic snafu with respect to the UNC residency program.
We did NOT go through the interview process this year, and will NOT have a position available for July 1, 2011.
Unfortunately, it now appears that we're going to be listed by the NRMP as having an un-matched slot come Match and Scramble Day.
THAT'S AN ERROR, so if you do see such a listing, please don't call us.
Apologies in advance for any stress/aggravation/disappointment this may cause.
Rest assured we will have a couple of openings for July 1, 2012.
