Upon reading about it, I am sure to drop Rush since I don't have strong community hours. That being said, would it be wise to drop Georgetown, EVMS, Creighton as well?

OOS MD schools interview few Texas residents since they know from years of experience that Texas residents will attend a Texas schools. For AMCAS schools you could try Tulane and TCU-UNT. If you attended an undergraduate school in another state and they have a medical school you could apply there or if you are a former resident of another state.

Thank you Faha! I attended my college in Canada (hence I am not eligible for the TMDSAS scale) and it's been 2 years since I moved to Texas for work. I was hoping to focus more on the research-focused institutes but they all seemed to be reach.
