After reading some about the healthcare industry and gaining a superficial understanding, I'm coming to the tentative conclusion that the insurance system is what causes big problems in healthcare. there are all sorts of unintended consquences, moral hazard, and perverse incentives involved. ok, it felt good spilling out that eco jargon. do big employers have an "oligopsony" on bulk purchases of healthcare insurance at discounted rates, preventing little guys from accessing it at affordable rates? any thoughts, im studying for upcoming interviews
