This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Basically if you want to go into pharmacy today, have a good work ethic, go to an established school, and be prepared to work "undesireable" jobs in "undesireable" locations.

Yup.....what a shame this profession has turned into some sort of hunger games type crap.

And like hunger games, you will most likely play it well trying the hardest of your ability and still lose due to random factors or luck. Even if you do make it, most of the "desirable jobs" still suck compared to other fields. Gain experience and move back? LOL good luck with that.

Bumping this thread. You really need to think very carefully about whether it is worth it to take out $200k+ in loans and be forced to relocate, possibly settle down in the middle of nowhere indefinitely just to have a job.

I'm done preaching

Gonna leave this right here from page one.

On a more serious note, you're not even applying to pharmacy school, you're not a pharmacy student, and you're not a pharmacist...why continue beating a dead horse, let people make their own decisions and go off and play nurse or get a degree in underwater basket weaving, nobody really cares and you've offered nothing to anyone in this thread other than being a nuisance.
