Thank You Email

Hi everyone,
I recently had an interview that was virtual. Following the interview, I looked up one of my interviewers on the school's website, and I sent my thank you email directly to the person who interviewed me. Is this ok? I assumed that I should thank them directly rather than just the admissions team but Im worried it may have been too far to email them personally.

Yeah no wrong there emailing them directly. Shows some initiative and with the influx of e-mails they get everyday, it's not a big deal.

I'm sure they appreciated the thought!
