ASTRO has put up a nice tool (http://capwiz.com/astro/issues/alert/?alertid=13744851) for quickly emailing your representative to tell them that Radiation Oncology services are not the same thing as diagnostic imaging services (which are what CMS is actually targeting) and therefore should not be inadvertently cut. All you do is input your zip code and it generates a letter that you can personalize before automatically e-mailing to your representative. If you work in a different zip code than your home, you can send it to both representatives.
It may not be much, but it's a little thing you can do to help try avoid the cuts and the decreased access to radiation oncology services for cancer patients that would occur.
