My son has T.R.A.P.S.. He's on Humira, chochicine, pain meds, muscle relaxer. 5 days ago he developed excessive thirst, drinking 1+ quart/hr. He's lost 3lbs since last week, 10 pounds since May. No appetite, feels lousy, the whole drill. No glucose problems via finger, lab or urine. Urine has mild leuk but no growth after 20 hours. Labs (STAT) partial from today. No bands listed in WBC.
Pediatrician is stumped and Rheum isn't until tues. He's feverish but I don't know if that is from his syndrome or separate. He looks terrible.
I'm open to anything so please send me your input. Previous labs for Lyme neg, ebstein barr neg along with most everything else. ANA goes up and down.
Flags are:
wbc 10.1 4.2-9.1
neutraphil 5.9 1.8 - 5.4
monocytes 1.1 0.3 - 0.8
(those are numbers not %).
I'll copy rest of report when I can figure out to get it out of read-only.
