step 3 ccs - final diagnosis

I took step 3 yesterday. I just realize that I never click end case in any of my cases and let the time run out, which means that I did not put in my final diagnosis on any of them. Any of you have the same experience, please, share, did you pass? Just to help me with my anxiety level while waiting for the score.

You should be good! How did you feel about it overall? Just finished Day 1 and have Day 2 next week. Day 1 was killer and a little harder than I expected.


*I cant seem to post the link but in Google just type in "final diagnosis step 3 ccs" and it'll take you to the ecfmg website stating they dont count final diagnosis in the scoring

Final diagnosis is not needed for scoring. Also, it's not necessary that cases should be fully completed to pass. If your patient was improving and stabilizing orders were placed and monitoring orders are in place, you should get most of the score

Effective January 2019 the diagnosis screen will be removed from the ccs cases.
