Hi all, I go to an 80s ranked but well known MD program in the NE. I got a 247 on Step 1 and just found out I got a 244 on Step 2 CK.
Clinical Grades: (in chronological order)
-Sat: Surgery
-High Sat: OBGYN
-Honors: Pediatrics, Medicine, Family Medicine, Psychiatry
Research: Maintained my paid research position at IVY institution/Top 5 Hospital throughout medical school (currently on year 5), part of some high impact research, collaborating with big players including WHO. Also received a research stipend summer after MS1 to do research at the same Top 5 Hospital where I got 2 new pubs (1 as 1st author)
Extracirriculars: On board of free clinics, president of IM interest group, also worked work-study job in addition to research job.

How badly is my CK score going to hurt my application?

Your scores are well above the mean for US seniors matching in Internal Medicine. Also, the Standard Error of Measurement for both Step 1 and Step 2 is +/-six. This would not be a significantly significant difference between the 2 scores.

Relax. Prepare for your interviews.
