The students of St. Christopher's College of Medicine wish to announce that the school is currently undergoing some administrative changes that may be confusing to outsiders. We have been aware of this for sometime, but due to legal reasons primarily, no announcement has been made prior to this time.

The founder of the school originally created the campus in the UK as a sub-campus to be affiliated with the main campus in Dakar, Senegal. However, that agreement was not honored by the founder, and the representatives of the Senegal campus allowed the GMC and ECFMG suspensions to occur without response in order to gain legal leverage. This was a very stressful time for all students and alumni involved, but we are pleased to announce that Senegal will take direct control of the UK campus, which, in the future will be known as St. Christopher's Iba Mar Diop School of Medicine, the addition to name being a very respected doctor in Senegal and an original partner in the school.

It is important to note that while the limited company and founder of the US side of the school is now under court injunction, he is still doing business, and has in fact, merged his corporation with MUA-Belize just a few days ago. As students of the college, we wish to make this distinction, because, depending on the outcome of final legalities, the limited company in UK will NOT be the original school as outlined by Senegal. There may very well be TWO functioning schools in Luton that have "St. Christopher's" as part of their name.

For anyone making a decision to go to a foreign medical school, please be advised that the limited company owned by Dr. L is NOT certified by the GMC or ECFMG and is unlikely to be, even through their new affiliation with MUA-Belize. Current students plan to stay with the original program affiliated with Senegal in order to secure the validity of our credits. Senegal officials have already met with the ECFMG and GMC regarding this issue and expect to be reinstated prior to the beginning of the next term.

We appreciate the medical students who have expressed their support during this difficult time, but are confident that students will continue to receive a good medical education via Senegal.

administrative changes

What a kind description for :
- imploded
- mired in a web of fraud deception and legal dispute
- specifically removed from recognition by GMC + ECFMG

Obviously NOT a supporter..

The word is 'accomplice' or 'accessory'.
