Medical Spring Grades and Updates

I've read several posts related to updates at schools. I was hoping I could ask a few questions.

I am a junior on the quarter system and plan on submitting my app in early June, well before grades are published. I have a 3.96 GPA

1. Is it typical or rare for junior quarter students to not send spring grades?
2. If I'm allowed to update schools, when should I update them on my grades (after a few months, November, after interview, after an actual major update like a publication)? I don't want to be annoying.
3. Do I have to update schools about grades? In other words, is this something schools are expecting.
4. Given that I have a 3.96, will a grade update even make a difference, or should I do it for the formality?
5. At your school, do students upload a transcript or do they just write up what classes they took and their grades? I want my formatting to match.

I would not worry about this. Submit when you are ready. Provide an updated transcript if one is requested. But no need to proactively update them with every new set of grades unless asked.

No you don't need to update schools to let them know your GPA has gone up from 3.96 to 3.97. Relax.

You're more than good. PLEASE do not waste another second thinking about this. The only time you should send an updated GPA is if a school specifically says they want one.
