I couldn't find the answer on the ada website, and i'm curious to know if a specialist who finishes a program in the U.S. practice anywhere in the U.S? Or are they limited to the WREB/NERB b.s as well? Any feedback is appreciated!

Same bs. Some state will accept specialty board certification for licensure but depending on the specialty that may be harder to get than a WREB/NERB.

Which states offer licensure by other routes besides a clinical exam (WREB/NERB/ADLEX)? I guess I'm asking if you know any states that offer licensure by completing a specialty program or getting board certified in your specialty. Thanks!

Hm... I think NY?

I think California will accept GPR in lieu of WREB, but won't accept specialty residency.

conneticut, california, new york, and i believe minnesota (i've also heard washington state, not sure though) all offer licensure by residency. Usually those mean AEGD/GPR, not sure if a speciality will qualify for license. best idea is to contact the state you want to go to and talk to them directly.
