SLAP repair in young athletes

What is yalls opinion on SLAP repairs in young patients? Repair the tear or take ot the biceps and reattach it into the bone? Just curious.

Depends on what grade of slap tear and what the condition of the biceps tendon is. Young patient I think most would repair the SLAP. There are certain indications for doing the tenodesis.
