SGU/HHC NYC agreement

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
So they're saying that in the future only SGU students and US medical grads will be allowed to do rotations in NYC hospitals?
Hope the other Caribbean med schools have plenty of clerkship sites available elsewhere.

No, it's only about 11 hospitals. There's a thread on here or valuemd that lists what the hospitals are. Alternatively you could go to the HHC webpage and check out their hospitals.

Oh, all right. Then I guess the other Caribbean med schools can arrange rotations in NYC hospitals that are not part of the 11 HHC ones.

Hmm. question, in the 3rd and 4th years when you do the clinical you still have classes correct? Where do these take place? In your respective hospital? Thanks

If, by classes, you mean lecture, then yes, they take place in the hospital you're assigned to.
