Asking for a friend.
I'm a caribbean student and I will finish my rotations by march 2015. I wanted to apply that match in Surgery and IM. But the problem is my surgical rotation is Sept 2014. Will I still be able to apply in this situation and get in with a recommendation letter from another surgeon I shadow and then get the recommendation letter in oct-nov for the rotations. Or should I just skip applying and wait till the next round. Also if I apply to IM and Surgery then who should my letters be from. Should it be half and half or is this frowned upon. Thanks for the help.
Also my step one score is 241 and have not completed step 2 yet.
