retina fellowship with green card

Hi Everyone,
just wondering whether being a green card holder not a US citizen can have any impact on the the interview invitations or fellowship match.
I did my residency in USA also.

There are several fellowship programs where fellows spend a significant amount of time at the VA, at these places citizenship is a requirement (requirement for working at the VA with attending privileges). You wont be getting interviews at these places
