Recs for place to stay in Tanzania?

Myself and two of my friends are doing a rotation at Muhimbili University Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in April. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any cheap housing for the month? Apparently the hostel next to the university is full for the month.
