Current MD student who just witnessed an atrocity.
My school invites current students to join the zoom waiting room to answer applicant questions and generally socialize. I just witnessed an MD/PhD applicant ask two of the other applicants where else they had interviewed and whether they had gotten any acceptances. Pro tip: DO NOT DO THIS. It's rude and a good way to add stress to someone else's already stressful day. Stay in your own lane and focus on your own interview day, and if you're interacting with other applicants, keep it light.
