How many derm programs are there in the nation and how many total overall spots vs. applicants? I have heard there are about 200 applicants/spot. Is this accurate?

I think there is like 105-110 ish programs. I applied to all of them on eras and a few that weren't.

If you look at the 2007 match stats it states that there a 300 something spots and around 600 people applied to them. From a source on another board this appears to be only the people who applied and got an interview and not all of those who submitted an application. It's my understanding that actually around 900 apply total.
