Humanity are the savages. Saya and Fuminori are starstruck lovers who the world has turned against. Everything they did was completely justifiable. Sure, they murdered and ate a few people. And sure, some people would fail to see the beauty in the mind break and rape of Fuminori's ex girlfriend, but it was necessary. Saya's bloom allowed humanity to transcend it's base origins and finally move on to a beautiful future.
