Preliminary Medicine - A distant dream

Hi

Though I matched for a 3 year advanced postion, so far it has been a frustrating experience in my efforts to get a prelim.

Any idea prelim positions coming up in the days to come? It is dreadful to think about losing my PGY2 match if I dont get a PGY1.

Any Suggestions welcome.

I know for sure that the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston is still looking for transitional interns, at least they were yesterday.

Is Transitional year acceptable for pursuing PGY2 Neurology?

it can be medicine, surgery, fp, or transitional. The program at Shattuck is essentially a medicine program. There is no peds, ob, or surgerry component.
