pre-med college student summer employment

Please help me help my students.

I am trying to assist pre-med sophomore college students find summer employment in a clinical type setting.

I am in the process of calling local hospitals for my students, however, I don't believe I have the correct words to ask the hospitals.

Is the position these students can have is Patient Technician?

I realize these students are not qualified to teat patients but I'd like them to be in patient care/clinical setting.

call HR and ask for any clinical/medicine-related positions, such as a medical scribe, tech, etc.

or look at free clinics?
