This is probably the best and only forum for practicing ophthalmologists. You may also try submitting your question to the AAO's AAOE billing staff. They are good!
PQRI is one of those quirky government things that seemed like a good idea in theory, but the implementaition of it is a confusing nightmare. (Gee...that almost NEVER happens with the government. )
Your best bet is to make your billing manager responsible for this, or at the very least delegate it to another staff member. Changes in these types of things are much harder to keep up with than changes in medical science and delegating that to the "experts" is the much better course of action.
