This may be a stupid question but hey i'll give it a go: I've read that posterior lateral elbow instability is usually caused by laxity in the ulnar component of the lateral collateral ligament. Pts often present with this after some sort of traumatic injury like a coronoid fx. So my question is say you had a fragment of bone floating around after the injury, could that fragment add to the laxity of the lateral collateral ligament? If so how?
