I'm obviously not considering Peds for its financial rewards.
after all this sacrifice though, i wanted to know if it was possible to make 200 grand in a fellowship of peds?
i think i'd like AI, clin genetics or neonatal right now, what are the lifestyle's like for these fellowships after residency? how about the competetiveness? are us grads favored for fellowships? is it possible to practice privately in AI?
any new subspecialties coming up in peds?
what are some of the frustrations and positive aspects of the work that you guys enjoy.
last night when i was trying to fall asleep i thought about what i'd be happy doing for the rest of my life. i thought if i was waking up to help some kids, it would be a pretty grand job.
