Looks like we may be meeting each other in Princess Anne AND Bangor, Tigerpedo!!! Yay :D
What do you make of the requirement to already be scheduled or have taken a clinical board exam? This wasn't something I was expecting. I'm emailing Dr. Brijade back about it, I was planning to take the WREB next spring but am not scheduled for it yet.

I'm going to make a post with all of the invites so far collaborated, so we can make it a 'list' as we add on to the end, kind of like they did last year.

Congrats Kidzteeth! Looking forward to meeting everyone. rew JW I dont know about the clinical exam requirement, but I am CITA certified already and Maine takes CITA.

I called the Joint Commission today to check the status of my order and the representative was quite unpleasant on the phone. She acted like it was a bother for her that I called. I think I talked to that same lady! She was awful! She called to say that I couldn't fill out the form properly online...and basically insulted me. So she told me to fax the addresses. So I called the number back on the following business day to confirm they received the fax and I am pretty sure it was her line. She told me that if the fax confirmed it then it should be there and she said "I am not going to go look for it." SO RUDE

But on the upside...

This isn't listed on Toledo's website or PASS, but just got an e-mail that if you've graduated they require a notarized copy of your diploma and 2 2x2s.
 
I know a few people who have interviews at Baylor too. They got called beginning last week and one on Wednesday.

OSU sent an attachment with the confirmation email stating that they only interview on 2 days, 10/8 and 11/5. Interviewees will be contacted by 9/21. If you applied to OSU and do not hear from them by 9/21, then your application was not selected.

I'm just starting to send my supplementals to them...let's keep fingers crossed!

Learned today - thought originally on ADEA PASS site it said no - that Baylor wants part 1 board scores


What other schools have y'all sent them too???

I even called them and they had told me know originally - guess there goes another $30 down the drain

LOL Between the social dinners and tours/luncheons at all the different LMC sites, we'll know each other better than I know some of my own classmates. Sad but true. :p I'm gonna have to buy another suit so you don't see the same suit twice ;)

6 hour drive between Bangor and Holyoke... if anybody wants to split the cost of a car rental and gas message me, I'm totally for it! Bet it would be a lot cheaper than flying.

For the sake of all the people who didn't apply to LMC programs, I hope other programs start sending out invites soon!

Quick question for my forum friends.. how important is it to attend the social dinner before or after the interview? if you miss it, will that count against you?

I would think that for programs where the residents have a big say it is definitely important. It's their chance to get to know you in a social setting and see if you are someone that they would want to spend the next year working with.

Also was fortunate to get a VCU interview invite, I added it to the list. It is my top choice and my first invite. I was hoping to get a bit more practice before then, but guess I will have to do some mock practice with colleagues.

Hey guys! I have applied to 17 programs! Was just offered an interview at VCU for either 10/29 or 11/2!! SUPER EXCITED!

Can anyone provide any insight into any particular sites or resources that are good to reference as we prepare for interviews?
 
Anyone heard from or know if classmates have heard from MUSC or San Antonio?
