Hello! I have been accepted to UMB. Being from MD, the in state tuition is seeming hard to turn down. However, I am wondering what it is like to be a student there? I have heard some rumors that it is very cut throat and the staff is not very attentive to the students. But I might be wrong! I also got into UVA where I know the environment is very supportive, however the cost is high - so I would prefer to go to UMB as long as I'm not going to be miserable. Could some students shed some light on what it's like to attend the school? Daily life, other students, teachers/staff etc?
