Which begs the question.... do you REALLY want to spend the money/time/effort to travel there when you are already facing an uphill battle? Maybe yes, maybe no. It all depends....

As some may know, Jacksonville has 2 interview dates. One in November and one in December. I have been offered the one in December but it is on the exact same day as the Parkland interview for me. The interview day for November is filled right now so I cannot go that day. If anyone is nice enough and is able to switch their Nov. interview date for my Dec. interview date at Jacksonville, please let me know. Thanks.

A lot of people are in a similar situation. Jacksonville has interview dates on the same day as Oregon and Parkland. Hopefully they offer another interview date.

Can anyone switch my Cincinatti date? I am scheduled for Nov. 22nd but need to switch to Dec. 6th due to an urgent family obligation that just came up.

For the guy who needed to switch his Jacksonville date, if you would switch my Cincinatti date, I will switch my Jacksonville date.

yes, they are sending out rejection letters, I have received couple of them in the last 3-4 weeks.

I received one from Indiana, Pacific, and Memphis. I also heard from one school over a month after their first interviews were posted on here and two weeks later from another school both offering me interviews, so all hope is not lost if you didn't hear from the first batch.
 
does anyone think it appropriate if you call or email the programs that you have not heard from or is that pushing it?
someone told me that no news is better than getting a rejection.
its just that i would rather know if i was rejected than just be kept in the dark thinking i might hear from a program.
 
UAB, Loma Linda, USC, LSU, U of Missouri,Kansas City, University of Nebraska, New York Bellevue, State U of NY at Buffalo.

Parosi, we are in the same boat, I can not decide if I should call. I would at least like to know if I would have an offer during the last two weeks of december.
Does any one have any idea as to how far into the month of december they would extend out an interview ?
 
From looking at the 2007 and 2006 interview threads it seems like the latest date was dec 15th, but who knows if any will be later this year.
 
Same here on wondering if I should call programs...has anyone done this? The programs I am still waiting on are:

Washington Hospital Center (DC)
University if Rochester
Medical University of South Carolina
Gundersen Lutheran
Medical College of Wisconsin
Denver Health Medical Center

Anybody heard anything about these programs? I still haven't heard from VCU, Univ. of Minnesota, and Univ. of Washington...I know they have offered interviews, but has anyone received rejection letters from them? Any hope still for an interview at any of these three programs?

I just interviewed at Memphis and loved it! If anyone has any questions about that program or the interview setup, I would love to share. I am heading to the Univ. of Iowa mid-Nov. Does anyone have any info on their interview process? Likes/dislikes? Crazy questions?

I am not interviewing right now, but I would definitely like to hear about the Memphis program if you have some info. There really isn't that much on here about the program. You should start a new thread with the stuff you have on the so everybody can read about it and it doesn't hijack this thread. :D

i applied to a total of 21 programs. i've gotten 9 letters/emails saying yes, 2 phonecall yes invite, 3 no emails, 1 no letter, and nothing from 6 yet.

in order of interview date yes: Gainesville, Indiana, Virginia, Montefiore, Maryland, LSU-Shreveport, Loyola, Univ Miss, USC, Loma Linda, LIJ.

No: UAB, UTSW, Iowa, UCLA

Heard nothing yet: Galveston, UNC, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Knoxville, Vanderbilt.

has anyone heard from those last few programs yet? just wanna know if i'm getting the "silent no" from them.

It won't hurt to call and ask. Most of the time you'll just talk with a secretary. If you do talk with someone important it just shows that you are interested.
 
If tradition holds...you guys won't find out about Oklahoma until late november or early december. Their interview date will be about a week before the match is due in January.
